  Beautiful views, delicious wedding food, kind wait staff, very sweet pets running around the property. We stayed for a whole weekend for a friend's wedding. The hotel rooms had a rustic charm, but don't expect romance as there is no privacy for the toilet in some of the rooms(apple room was ours). Also, the plumbing doesn't seem to be working well as there was a strange smell in the room, also lots of loud noises from pipes. Roosters will wake you up at 5am and if that doesn't do it, gardeners with a leaf blower will wake you up at 8. When our friend (groom) complained about some of these things, the owner, Merce, said "this is the country, this is the way it is." Perhaps she is right. Merce is very proud of her business, is always around, is very strict. She is not very flexible, was upset that my friend made a wedding cake (?). Bride had no hot water in her suite on day of wedding, had to borrow shower from another room. Perhaps these are all quirky charms of the country?

  We attended our friends' wedding here and it was fantastic! Beautiful location, very friendly staff and delicious food.
